These are my two Elvis pins I bought during a wonderful mini vacation with my mom to Los Angeles a few years ago. I had the intention of making them into necklaces as little mementos of the trip. I’m not sure that will happen at this point anymore, but I am still quite happy to have them in my new pin book.

I pulled out my 1” and 7/8” button makers (the quarter is for size reference) and made cute things! I didn’t put in the pin backs because I don’t know if I want to make them pins or scrapbook flair (I have a small amount of flatbacks left, which I didn’t find until after I made them.)
Anyways, all of these are postal themed—they are the inside of envelopes, stamps and metered postage.
These ceramic badges and pendants are made out of old, neglected porcelain plates (mainly single pieces) found [at] flea markets.
Selected areas are carefully cut out, sanded and glued to a pin. This way old ceramic plates are turned into fashion accessories.
I love this.
